The service, food and ambience was very nice, however the bottle of Proseco we ordered was not chilled and had to ask for an ice bucket. The only thing that really let it down was the state of the toilets. Really quiet unpleasant.

We had a lovely meal, the wild Boar was well presented, and the meat had a good earthy flavour. The Apple Charlotte dessert was very sweet and just right after the rich meat.
The Halibut was very good, served on a bed of peas. The other guests fillet steak which just melted in the mouth! We will return again, a very good night out.

Lovely old building and good looking restaurant. Enjoyed the sunday roast, found the beef to very tender and the right amount of "redness" in the meat. Good price considering the quality and we enjoyed sitting in the bar with a coffee for an hour or so. Made to feel very welcome, would recommend
