Situated to the South of Chesterfield town centre on Sheffield Road, Lombardi’s is a restaurant offering authentic Italian cuisine created by the family using fresh produce.

The interior goes for a full out Italian theme with faux-tiled tables, mouldings on the walls and a feature wall designed to look like a little Italian house, complete with balcony and open doors so you can peek in and watch the Chefs at work. The bar features a comfortable seating area with sofas and bar stools so you can relax before your meal. On the whole Lombardi’s offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that has been favoured by the locals for years.

On the menu you will find a varied selection of hot and cold antipasti’s including the patriotic Insalata Tricolore of tomato, baby mozzarella and avocado seasoned in olive oil and Polpette, traditional Italian meatballs in a rich tomato sauce topped with parmesan. For mains there is a good selection of pizza and pasta dishes and the Calzone stuffed with onions, mozzarella, mushrooms, ham, spinach and salami smothered in Bolognese sauce, comes very highly recommended. Those who require a gluten-free meal will also be pleasantly surprised, as well over half of the menu is prepared gluten free.

The atmosphere in Lombardi’s is buzzy and lively and makes for a perfect night out on its own. The staff are attentive and when you’ve been once, you will definitely be returning.
